Pierre Rossouw from Bellville writes  My friend Johann Jooste and I spent 12 days in the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park in February this year. One morning, we drove south from Nossob and pulled over to take photos of this Cape cobra near the Dikbaardskolk waterhole.

A small leopard tortoise crossed the road and the snake immediately went over to investigate. After many attempts, the snake picked the tortoise up and disappeared into the veld with it.
