Everyone understands that 2020 was a tough year for matriculants. Not only did they have to study virtually for a few months, they wrote their exams during a pandemic, and had to do without some of the popular study camps.
Since the exam results were released, South Africans have taken to social media to reassure matrics who might not have done all that well that there is hope out there.
One of them is Rivoningo Khosa, a UCT student studying towards her PhD in the science field – more than 10 years after she got a D in science in matric.
