Howard Feldman goes against good advice and writes about how angry he is that the country is having Stage 6 load shedding. He writes that pure incompetence and laziness have got us to this point.
It's a good rule - and one that has saved me from myself on more than one occasion. But it is one that I intend to suspend for this article only. The rule is to "never write in anger" - not an email, not a WhatsApp message, not a response to a particularly annoying tweet. Never. It's not worth it.
Only maybe sometimes it is.
