Huawei unveiled a new smartphone, the P Smart 2021, in South Africa last week. The P Smart 2021 is affordable, aesthetical and artsy and suitable to the millennial lifestyle.
The Chinese tech company has expanded its budget, smartphone portfolio with this latest device. The P Smart 2021 has been available at Vodacom and Cell-C stores from the 7th of November and on Huawei’s online store from the 9th of November. What really grabbed our attention about Huawei’s latest flagship is that it retails at – wait for it – R5999.00!
In a year where many South Africans have had to turn their cents around, it’s refreshing to see a smartphone on the South African market that’s both budget-friendly and boujee. In appearance, the P Smart 2021 is second to none and is available in Blush Gold and Midnight Black.
On a more technical level, the P Smart 2021 also doesn’t hold back and won’t disappoint users from a functionality point of view. At the end of the day, we all just need a smartphone that keeps us connected, lasts all day and takes great pictures - and that’s exactly what this device promises to deliver.
The P Smart 2021 runs on the EMUI 10.1 user interface and is pre-installed with AppGallery to equip users with a smarter, more connected device. It also comes with 22.5W Huawei SuperCharge, which enables it to sustain two hours of video playback with just 10 minutes’ charging. Additionally, the 5000mAh battery capacity will ensure battery endurance for a full day out.
With its 48MP quad camera and generous built-in storage of up to 128GB, the P Smart 2021 begs to be used to capture every precious moment in life. Its 8MP Ultra-Wide Angle Camera, 2MP Macro Camera and 2MP Depth Camera gives users the ability to explore different photography settings and really become avid photographers in no time.
