Emboldened IFP leaders say they are "not shaken" by former president Jacob Zuma's uMkhonto weSizwe Party (MKP) as political parties ramp up campaigns to garner votes for the May general elections.
A poll has shown that the MK Party could become the third-largest party in the country, clawing support from the ANC, EFF and IFP.
During the party's election manifesto launch at Moses Mabhida Stadium on Sunday, IFP secretary-general Siphosethu Ngcobo conceded that the MKP had been making inroads in traditional IFP strongholds.
