EFF MP Naledi Chirwa is unlikely to return to Parliament as she is number 200 on the party's candidates' list of people headed to the National Assembly.
Recently, Chirwa had to publicly apologise for missing a sitting of Parliament, where the EFF has 44 seats.
Chirwa, who became one of the party's youngest MPs in 2019, has been overtaken by newcomers in the party, including former ANC veteran Carl Niehaus and former Public Protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane, who are number 27 and 40 on the list, respectively.
