The DA says prisoners have more voting rights than South Africans living abroad, as the party decried delays in the Electoral Commission's (IEC) rolling out online registration for SA expats.
The DA said on Thursday that the IEC online registration rollout had been delayed three times this year.
The party said the IEC had no set date for when citizens who live abroad would be allowed to register online.
