Patriotic Alliance (PA) leader Gayton McKenzie, whose party is a staunch supporter of Israel, said the PA was willing to relinquish working with ANC in Joburg rather than change its stance on Israel in favour of Palestine.
McKenzie told News24 that the PA was unwilling to support "baby killers" of Hamas, the military group that governs an area in Gaza, Palestine.
"We would rather be out of power than be on the side of baby killers, shooters of innocent youth. Hamas is a terrorist organisation, period. Panyaza [Lesufi] can't even control his forces but dares to command the PA, we will teach him what power is. We will start right here in Joburg and deal decisively with the ANC in the Western Cape," McKenzie said.
