The Royal Eswatini Police Service has neither confirmed nor denied a report that two South Africans who were arrested and extradited from Eswatini were linked to the murder of rapper Kiernan "AKA" Forbes and DJ and entrepreneur Tebello "Tibz" Motsoane.
Royal Eswatini Police Service Assistant Superintendent Nosipho Mnguni told News24 on Tuesday that the men were wanted in connection with a "number of murder cases", but that she could not confirm whether it included the murder of Forbes and Motsoane.
"At this stage, we cannot say they are connected to the murder of the singer AKA and his friend. In Eswatini, they appeared in court for contravention of the Immigration Act, being that they were found to be in the country without the relevant documentation," Mnguni said.
