Just three weeks after allegedly murdering celebrated rapper Kiernan "AKA" Forbes and his friend, Tebello "Tibz" Motsoane, three of the seven suspected assailants allegedly attacked the wife of a KwaZulu-Natal taxi owner and killed a man she was travelling with in a grey Land Rover.
It is alleged that murder-accused Siyabonga Ndimande, 28, his brother, Lindani, 35, Siyanda Myeza, 21, and two others carried out the attack on the woman. They were in the white Mercedes-Benz, which was also used as the getaway vehicle during the AKA and Tibz double murder.
The vehicle was later found abandoned at the Cato Crest informal settlement in Durban.
