DA candidates: 'Bogus doctor' withdraws from process, awaits punishment

A Cape Town councillor, who is embroiled in a qualifications scandal, has withdrawn from the DA's candidate list process and is in talks with the party after being sanctioned.

This was confirmed by the DA after a press briefing in Johannesburg on Monday.

At the briefing, the DA released its candidates' list ahead of the 29 May general elections.
