A true crime TikTok influencer has apologised to a South African teacher living in South Korea after her posts questioning his American wife’s "suspicious" death saw him facing baseless accusations of abuse and murder.
"I know now that I should perhaps have done some more investigation on this before I posted the videos. I have deleted them and explained to my followers that the case is closed and no crime was committed here,” the influencer, who is known as "True Crime Mama" and has declined to provide her real name, told News24.
"I am truly sorry for any pain and trouble caused by the things I shared."
