Not having access to good quality treatment for mental health is a violation of human rights, an expert has said.

"Section 27 of the Constitution is quite clear about right to good healthcare services, so obviously you have people with mental health difficulty who are not able to access good mental health services. That is in violation of their human right, [the] right to health," associate professor in psychology at the University of Witwatersrand Malose Langa said.
