Residents of Elsies River in Cape Town say while they want drug dens in their neighbourhoods to be shut down, that should not be done in a manner which leads to the loss of an innocent life.
This after the death of 16-year-old Althea Adams who was killed on Sunday after the police swooped on a residence, discovered drugs and ammunition, and wanted to arrest the owner.
Some residents reportedly turned on the officers, lashing out at them when they tried to make the arrest.
