An avid Springbok supporter and former Eastern Province rugby player from Gqeberha wants Uitenhage Road (R75) in the Nelson Mandela Bay Metropolitan Municipality to be renamed after South African director of rugby Rassie Erasmus.

Lubabalo Mpongoshe submitted his application to the Eastern Cape Geographical Names Council shortly after the Boks' World Cup victory against the All Blacks last Saturday.
