Eight VIP protection officers linked to the alleged assault incident on the N1 appeared in the Randburg Magistrates Court on Monday.
The State is ready to start prosecuting eight Presidential Protection Services officers, who form part of Deputy President Paul Mashatile's protection detail, in connection with allegations that they assaulted people on the N1 in Gauteng in August.
On Thursday, prosecutor Elize Le Roux told the Randburg Magistrate's Court that the police's investigation was complete.
