The water supply in Ekangala and Rethabiseng in Pretoria has been restored following a prolonged outage that led to violent protests and attacks on a local police station.
The City of Tshwane confirmed this in a statement on Monday.
The City said the outage was caused by the breakdown of a pump at the Bronkhorstspruit Water Treatment Plant.
