Three South African sisters,
Kholeka, Bongeka and Thobeka Lwana, have defied industry norms to provide
affordable wifi solutions to underprivileged communities in deep rural areas.
Despite starting in the communications sector with no prior knowledge of the connectivity industry, the trio's journey into the wifi space is reshaping digital accessibility in the country, making it possible for underprivileged communities to have access to a gigabyte for as little as R5 and R249 for unlimited packages.
Their journey began with the establishment of the Do Good Circle, an NGO aiming to empower youth with skills in local communities.
