Uber drivers in South Africa are unhappy about the Trip Radar feature being rolled out by the e-hailing company, arguing that the trip acceptance method endangers drivers by distracting them and forcing them to take trips without checking if they are safe.
Uber drivers have historically accepted trips that are sent to them with a pop-up notification, offering them an individual trip.
