South African gymnast Naveen Daries says it's a dream come true to represent her country at next month's Tokyo Olympics.

The 19-year-old ensured her qualification by capturing a bronze medal at last month's African Gymnastics Championships in Cairo.

Daries scored 43.850 on all apparatus and booked her flight to Japan for the rescheduled Olympics, which will run from 23 July to 8 August.
