PARIS - 28 October 2023 stands as the date that could nudge Springbok captain Siya Kolisi into the realms of rugby immortality.

He leads his team into a consecutive Rugby World Cup final on Saturday against their great rivals, New Zealand, at the Stade de France.

Kolisi has become only the second captain behind New Zealand's Richie McCaw to lead a team into a Rugby World Cup final defence, having won the tournament in 2019 at the Nissan Stadium in Yokohama when they beat England 32-12.
