Johannesburg - A man appeared in the Delmas Magistrate's Court near Bothibelong on Monday for allegedly raping his 3-year-old twin daughters, Mpumalanga police said.

The case against the 38-year-old man was postponed until next Monday for a bail application, said police spokesperson Selvy Mohlala.

He was arrested on Saturday, after both girls were taken to hospital when they were found with blood stains and discharge on their underwear, Mohlala said.

They had been left with their father while their mother was in hospital.
