How to lose 5kg just by getting dressed: part 3

accreditation
For many years, I wouldn’t wear short skirts because of my very white legs. I’ve gotten over myself now, but during that time, I discovered that winter dressing offered me some fabulous solutions.

Now for some tips on what shape of skirt will work best for you.

The pencil skirt myth: I hear so many people say that anyone can wear a pencil skirt. I disagree. Most times, a pencil skirt fits well in the waist and hips, but then narrows toward the hem. This makes your hips look wider than they are.

Look for flair in the hem: In order to give your curves balance, it’s best to wear a skirt that has flair in the hem. When your hem is your widest point, it makes everything above it look narrow in comparison. Yay!

There are two basic styles that work very well for most shapes.

Fishtail: This style fits well in the waist and hip, narrows slightly and then flares at the hem. This works really well for ladies who are fairly straight up and down and want to create an illusion of curve and for ladies who have a tummy, narrow hips and slim legs. This style will give you shape and show off your gorgeous legs.

A-line: This style fits well in the waist and flairs at the hip. It works really well for ladies who want to de-emphsise their bums and thighs without loosing their shape. This will make your gorgeous curves work for you.
