Should the Joost and Amor book have been published?

accreditation
So Joost has lost the appeal to try and get the book that everyone seems to be talking about, banned.  Reactions to the appeal and the book itself have been decidedly mixed, although, a majority of our readers definitely seem to be on Joost's side here.

Check out our reader responses below, while excerpts from the book can be found both here and here

Lynette: Why is Joost so worried - and not to be nasty- we all have to die one day. Live your life in such a way that you won't have to be afraid of any publication about your life.

Elbie: Poor writing skills and even grammar errors! Who would buy it? Not me!

Angie: Couldn't care less what Prins has to say. There's a price for selling your soul to the devil. By reading that garbage I will be sinking to the same level as that of Prins and Random House Struik - that of a bottom feeder.

Tilly: The man is dying for pete's sake. Have respect and at least half a heart. He's suffered enough already.

Petro:  But he said he is all well now! Cured from all sickness... So let the truth be told

Linda: No I would definitely not. We all make mistakes. Let Joost live whatever time he has left in peace. Maybe someone should find skeletons in Prins' life. He should be ashamed of himself

Adair: What can possibly be new in the book that hasn't been published by Joost himself or the newspapers?I won't buy the book but Joost and Amor have continually washed their dirty linen in public so can't call foul now.

Jacqui: I think it is a publicity ploy! Sure Joost is getting royalities on the book sales. And the more fuss you make, the more people will want to buy the book to see what all the fuss was about!

Rene: If there is skeletons in the closet, so be it! Just leave them be! Its nobody's business. The guy is sick and is trying to fix his life before it's too late. Who are we to judge?

Zanele:  Wish the press could just leave the guy and his lovely family alone. He has suffered enough of bad publicity during his illness

Tilly: I would love to dig into Gavin Prins's life and expose him. No man is innocent but no man has the right to benefit out of another's misery. This is beyond sick.
