Three handbags every girl needs

How many handbags do you own?  If you can’t answer this question off pat, you probably have too many.  In reality you only really need 3.  Here are the handbag must haves:

1.    An every day handbag
Last week I gave you ways to downsize your handbag, so you know that it doesn’t have to be huge to cater for your needs.  When it comes to style and colour, this depends on your wardrobe and personal style.

If you mostly wear neutrals, then a bold colour or printed handbag will give some pop to your look.  If you wear a variety of colour, a good neutral colour will work best.  For those ladies who often travel, a nude colour is great.

You wont’ have to take more than one handbag with you when going on a trip as a nude colour will go with everything.

2.    A party bag

There is nothing more frustrating than going to a party and you have to lug a big handbag with you to keep it safe.  Select a small handbag that will fit just your essentials (some money, cell phone, lipstick, tissue, tampon and car keys).

I like the styles that have a strap.  Cutch bags can be problematic if you want to join your friends on the dance floor.  Adjust the strap so it sits comfortably across your body.  No handbag is going to hold back this party girl!

3.    An overnight bag

Most of us spend a night away at times.  A suitable size bag is better than lugging around a big suitcase (especially if romance enters the equation).  To keep your packing to the minimum, make sure you have small travel size bottles of your beauty products (Woolworths has great ones available.)
