Yet again, a woman’s autonomy over her body was completely ignored. Sadly, this is one of many similar cases.
Two years ago, ABC News reported that a 6-week pregnant Florida woman was tricked by her boyfriend into taking what she thought were antibiotics, but they were actually abortion pills.
This teaches us another lesson: couples must be on the same page on whether or not they want to have children. Trust is the most important thing in a relationship, and both these stories are betrayals of that trust.
All we can hope for is justice and peace for the women who have experienced this.
