Alcohol and the K-word

accreditation
Mel Gibson, John Galliano, Charlie Sheen and now our very own Darren Scott all got pissed, lost their shit and said horrible racist things while under the influence.*

This week in Heat magazine there is some speculation about whether Scott, a self-confessed drinker, should perhaps cut down to help save his career. They also insinuate that the alcohol might have had something to do with his racial slur.

It doesn’t matter how blind drunk some people get, they will never utter the K-word.

Alcohol just lowers your inhibitions so that you’ll say things you wouldn’t necessarily say in front of other people. So if it was in your active vocabulary (and on your mind) already, it might slip out.
