The new US President, Donald Trump, wants the women who work for him to “dress like women,” according to this recent report from Axios.
Trump is reportedly very particular about how his staffers are dressed. If you’re going to be a public representative for Trump then you need to “have a certain look” and that look, at least for men, means “ you have to be sharply dressed,” a source told Axios.
Apparently even the women who are in Trump’s campaign field offices, and were knocking on doors handing out fliers and not going to any fancy events, felt pressured to wear dresses in order to impress Trump.
Once the report was published, Twitter had a thing or two to say about it and the hashtag #DressLikeAWoman was born.
