Those nominated at the 92nd Academy Awards are gifted with a luxurious goodie bag fit for their celebrity lifestyles.
Interestingly, although the gift bag is valued at $225 000 (about R3,4 million), winners don't get anything more than the Oscar trophy that reportedly costs about $400 (about R6 000) in addition to the gift bag.
However, given that winning the award is estimated to boost winners' earning potential by an average of 60%, according to CinemaBlend, winning is quite a big deal.
The gift bag includes hotel stays, a matchmaking service, cosmetic procedures, a smart bra, posture training and a yacht experience, among other treats.
According to CNBC, the stars nominated in the categories including Academy Award in the best actor and actress, best supporting actor and actress and best director categories get the high-end gift bag hand-delivered to their homes in suitcases as their too big to be carried at the event.
Dubbed the "Everybody wins" gift bag, courtesy of Los Angeles-based niche marketing company Distinctive Assets, this year's gifts have make up the most expensive bag in 18 years.
Distinctive Assets founder Lash Fary tells Reuters, “It’s the highest value we’ve ever put together.”

Lash says the gifting company is not affiliated with the Oscars and that the gifts are a symbol of appreciation to the Hollywood stars.
Speaking to Forbes about the least costly item in the bag, a two-pack of dark chocolate Milanos, which cost $4.89 (about R73) for a set of 10, Lash said, “Sometimes it’s the little things that people like most, not the most expensive thing in the gift bag.”
Forbes reports that while these 'gifts' are taxed in the U.S., few celebs turn them down. Who would, tbh?
Feast your eyes on some of the notable items included in the gift bags:
Crystal-infused bath bombs
Officina Bernardi Moon Bracelets
A smart bra to measure the perfect bra size
About R370 000 ($25,000) worth of cosmetic treatments with Manhattan doctor Konstantin Vasyukevich
Hydration kits meant to target jet lag
An eight-person cannabis edible culinary experience
A 12-day holiday on a luxury yacht that includes an optional submarine ride. The holiday is worth just over R1 million ($78,000)
Personal matchmaking service
A bottle of Próspero Tequila
Oxygenetix Oxygenating Foundation
The cheapest item is a two-pack of dark chocolate Milanos, which cost $4.89 (about R73 a pack) for a set of 10
