Have you seen Mariah’s three-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe? They’re just adorable, aren’t they? So we can see why she wants to share lots of pictures of them like a proud momma.
According to Buzzfeed, the sultry singer tweeted “quality time with #dembabies.. so much happiness!!” along with a picture of herself... from 1997. Awkward.
Apparently, the picture was featured in a 1997 episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show.
She then attached 3 pictures of her children. Which are actually from this decade.
The good people over at Buzzfeed tweeted Mariah for comment, but she’s yet to respond to their tweet. Or anyone else’s for that matter.
Could it have been a mistake? She uploaded the wrong picture? Maybe her eyesight isn’t so great anymore so she thought 1997 looked like 2014? Her children were messing around with her phone? Or did she really think the internet was dumb enough not to notice? Or that we’d all think she slapped a vintage filter on a current picture and it looks a lot like that one from 1997?
