The African soul singer and Ndiredi hitmaker, Simphiwe, has dropped a bomb on us. Yes I know it’s hard to believe, but the singer has confessed to having an affair with a former singer turned pastor Lucky Shabangu.
The bombshell follows rumours that Simphiwe was a lesbian and was dating Johannesburg businesswoman, Lebo Keswa, whom she refers to as a “friend and patron”.
The mother of two kids claims that she has done no wrong in having an affair with a married man but admits the man is not divorced. At least he does not live with his wife. As a matter of fact they live in different provinces.
She says, “I fell in love. I didn’t plan it and neither did he, but it happened. Yes, I feel guilty for hurting people, but my problem is being criminalised for falling in love”.
On the flip side though Dana says, “I don’t want to be the one to break up his family. My father was a serial philanderer and I would never want to put any woman through that kind of pain.”
Erm, we are confused. Isn’t that what you the poor singer turned mistress is doing RIGHT NOW?
