Mangi has a difficult first day back at work. Maletsatsi is humiliated when Constance discovers she used the Cooking for Christ project for her own gain. Mo and Alex are at loggerheads over her reluctance to take over the helm at NZH. Mangi is totally freaked out when Daniel insists he take over responsibilities as acting head of the Nyathi family.
Pravesh seeks an ally in NZH – and it's none other than Shakira. When Daniel's threatened by a prison inmate, he calls an overwhelmed Mangi for help. Maletsatsi apologises to the church ladies for her actions, but Constance still kicks her out of their fundraising group. Mangi buckles under the stress and has a drink.
Mangi becomes progressively obsessed with Nadia's involvement in Leticia's burial. Pravesh and Tino discover they have a common goal. Mo is disturbed about the newly formed alliance between Shakira and Pravesh. Constance has a great business idea for Maletsatsi.
Daniel, to ensure his safety in jail, gives Mangi a difficult task. His son struggles to cope with the pressure. Alex is unimpressed by new acting CEO of NZH, Donna Abrahams. Maletsatsi works on her new baking venture.
