Life is getting pretty expensive, and when I say life… I mean clothes.
Earlier this year, when I told some of my retail friends that my New Year's resolution was to not buy anything until May 2016, they laughed at me and told me that I should shop now. As a South African consumer things are about to get about 20% more expensive, especially if you are shopping international brands (everything is bought in dollars).

- Shop local: this I already do, from some of our great SA designers and stores in ShopSA.
- Invest in good quality (which means slightly more expensive), versatile pieces that will not only last you a lifetime, but that you can wear in many different ways like the classic white shirt.
