Jewellery we want to add to our online shopping cart (but can't, because rent)

accreditation

Splurging on expensive jewellery is not as everyday as buying milk. Which is unfortunate.

But when you have rent due, spending close to R3K on a pair of tassle earrings, might be perceived as slightly deranged - especially in our current economic climate.

Or say you have children, a mortgage and all the rest to consider, a R8K necklace for "just because" is a bit of a stretch.

But, one can dream. Better yet, save!

Here are a few pieces I now have in my imaginary online shopping cart - they'll all, undoubtedly, liven up ANY dull dud outfit:

Lanvin, Bi-colour tassel rope necklace R8,090.

Katerina Makriyianni, Hand Fan gold-tone wool earrings
R 2726.

Erickson Beamon, Cherry Pie gold-plated, Swarovski crystal and enamel earrings
R 7711.

Kirsten Goss Strada, Oversized, open organic drop earring with stone accent in silver or gold vermeil,
R5,950.

Oscar De La Renta, Embellished tassel drop earrings, R11,110.

Ida Elsje Hey Jude bangle. Handmade in Cape Town, R 5,600.

These I am definitely buying!

Kirsten Goss Vizor mini angular leaf shaped earring set with stones in silver or gold vermeil, R1,850.

Dolce & Gabbana, Embellished charms hoop earrings, R7,680.

Annelise Michelson, Déchainée gold-plated earrings,
R 7669.

Another local designer!

Apis Atelier, Raw Gemstone Cuff, R 4517.

Marni, Leather Pendant Floral Earrings, R 4166.

Aurélie Bidermann, Paloma flower gold-plated drop earrings, R10,560.

Shourouk, Suma earrings, R3,224.
