If you follow her on Instagram, you probably love U.S. author and founder of Man Repeller Leandra Medine Cohen's signature shoe pose - the one legged selfie.
In her bio, she calls herself the "proud initiator of that thing where you lift one foot to fit your shoe in the photo frame." Her approach to appreciating luxury fashion puts the fun back in fashion again. And that's something we could all do with a healthy dose of during these pandemic times.

You know what? Leandra is actually someone we wouldn't mind virtually social distancing with if we could also gain access to her wardrobe. Her IG feed is a breath of fresh air (definitely need a whole lot of that right now) in today's hyper curated social media space. Eva Chen gave us the 'Uber backseat shoe selfie', and this 30-something author gave us the one-legged selfie - we're grateful for both.
This is her latest #oneleggedselfie:
And a few favourites:
From this series of eccentrically exhibited shoes, you might gather that Leandra has quite an impressive selection of stompers at her disposal - from super glam heels to dad chic kicks and loafers, to feminine kitten mules.
So if ever we were to walk in someone's shoes, she's definitely top of our list, and evidently Louis Vuitton's too. Here, we look at a day in the life of Leandra Medine Cohen in her Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2020 shoes.

About the collection
The new Louis Vuitton women’s shoe collection mixes classic and futuristic styles, sportswear and savoir-faire, sophistication and a boyish femininity, offering a bold, high fashion look for summer 2020. This season's star is the loafer.

Reinvented by Louis Vuitton’s artistic director of womenswear Nicolas Ghesquière, the style plays with masculine and feminine attitudes while reinforcing the House’s codes throughout the collection.

First, Swift introduces a sportswear feel with a hybrid mix of leather and hi-tech fabrics. With a new LV Circle buckle designed by Nicolas Ghesquière for the Cruise 2019 show, this style features one of the House’s iconic signatures: a heel in the shape of the Monogram flower.

While the rest of the shoe is black, the heel flirts further with Louis Vuitton’s codes using the same colours as the Monogram canvas. Undeniably boyish, Academy gives the classic college loafer a modern twist with a platform sole made from multiple layers of leather.
With its generous, exaggerated shape, this style pairs beautifully with the LV Beaubourg derby shoes unveiled at the Fall-Winter 2019 show, which also feature an oversized platform sole.
In contrast, the ultra-feminine Podium gives this summer a seventies feel. From high-tops and boots to platform sandals, this style artfully combines calfskin and suede for a vintage effect.

This playful collection screams colour and the LV Archlight is no exception. An instant hit, the unique futuristic style and signature oversized sole of these iconic Louis Vuitton sneakers get a fresh new look each season. The sneakers are featured in this collection in new colourways for summer 2020.
