An Instagram model from New Delhi in India was left with a botched bottom and unable to sit down for four months after she underwent a Brazilian butt lift from a dodgy surgeon.
Shilpa Sethi (25) says she always wanted curves so she was hell-bent on saving up R17 500 for the surgery, the Mirror reports.
Shilpa, who has more than 1,2 million followers on Instagram, regularly posts sexy snaps of herself in lingerie and wanted the surgery to bolster her booty.
“I chose my doctor based on what I later discovered to be fake reviews. That first surgery was botched, and I had complications immediately after the procedure,” she said.
“I was short of breath and felt a sharp pain in my leg.”
A buttock lift involves taking fat from a person’s waist and injecting it into the bum, according to Fox News,
Shilpa was left with a lopsided bottom and in excruciating pain and has since shared her story to help others avoid the same issues.
“His office staff had bribed every patient with free [pain-relieving] Arnica cream for their fake review,” she said about her doctor.
“The only reason I’m telling my story now is because I don’t want anybody else to go through what I’ve been through.
“I wish I’d never picked him as my first doctor.”
Following three more corrective procedures, the model has finally been able to put the horrible experience behind her.
