Having been in the spotlight for almost three decades, Angelina Jolie is certainly no stranger to rumours. So, when we first heard whispers of a possible romance with The Weeknd (real name Abel Makkonen Tesfaye) we brushed it off as fake news.
But after the 46-year-old actress and 31-year-old musician were spotted at the same location for the third time, we’re taking notice and keeping a close eye.
Over the weekend the mother-of-six and the Canadian singer spent two and a half hours inside a private section of upmarket Italian restaurant Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica.
The Oscar-winning actress arrived at the swanky eatery separately from the Blinding Lights singer at 8:05pm, but left with him after the meal. She was seen hopping into the backseat of his waiting black SUV and they drove to his $70 million Bel-Air mansion.
Angie wore a black double-breasted trench coat, matching pumps, and an Yves Saint Laurent purse while her rumoured beau coordinated with her in a black jacket, skinny jeans, and boots.

Interestingly, Giorgio Baldi was also the setting when the pair first sent the rumour mill into overdrive on June 30.
The musician and the estranged second wife of Brad Pitt were spotted dining together for hours at the upmarket eatery. While the pair arrived and left separately, they were both snapped at the same place at the same time.
Just days later they raised eyebrows again when they both attended Mustafa the Poet’s A-list private concert private concert in Los Angeles – and even though they didn’t sit together, it was enough to ramp speculation up a good couple of notches.
He was snapped with a group of friends, while she was seated nearby with daughters Shiloh (15), and Zahara (16). A fan account of the Save Your Tears hitmaker later posted images of the stars on Twitter.

The July sightings came hot on the heels of Angie's family trip to the Big Apple, where insiders claim she took son Pax (17) with her to meet the Grammy-winning musician.
“Ange has been in contact with Abel for a while and he was in New York at the same time as her and the kids,” an insider told The Sun at the time.
“They met up for lunch in private. She took Pax along because he's a big fan and they got along really well. Pax was obviously thrilled.”
While it isn't impossible that their latest sighting could've been a date – both Angie and The Weeknd are currently single – it was more likely a business meeting, says an industry insider.
“He’s definitely focused on getting to the movie business,” the source says.
The Weeknd will star in an upcoming HBO project, The Idol, and is currently co-writing another series which, “follows a female pop singer who starts a romance with an enigmatic L.A. club owner who is the leader of a secret cult”.
