If you thought the divorce drama between Britney Spears and her estranged husband Sam Asghari was over, think again.
The 41-year-old pop star believes Sam (29) was in cahoots with her father, Jamie Spears, to keep her in a controversial conservatorship that gave him control of aspects of her daily life.

“Britney has reason to believe that Sam was secretly working with her father, Jamie, from the beginning of their relationship. Sam would provide Jamie with information that would help her keep her under conservatorship. In return, Sam had access to her and her money,” a source told the Daily Mail.
The couple wed in 2022 but Britney began dating Sam, a personal trainer and actor, from 2015 while she was under her dad’s conservatorship.
Sam filed for divorce in August citing irreconcilable differences and since then allegations have been flying back and forth between the two with Sam accusing the singer of domestic violence and infidelity.
The pair are apparently not on speaking terms but insiders say their relationship has been toxic for months.
“Britney feels manipulated and betrayed by Sam,” a source told Us Weekly.
Sam has since moved into a luxurious apartment in Los Angeles, paid for by Britney, because he hasn't been able to work due to the ongoing writer’s strike in Hollywood.
“She’s giving him a stipend until they settle everything in court,” an insider says.

According to another source, the Circus singer is ready to move on and put her marriage behind her.
“As far as dating goes, Britney just wants to enjoy her freedom and meet hot guys – that seems to be the priority. But it’s hard to know what Britney really wants down the line, it changes so frequently.”
Britney broke her silence on the divorce on social media last month when she revealed she couldn’t take the pain anymore.
"I’m not here to explain why because it’s honestly nobody’s business,” she said in a post which included a video of her dancing in skimpy clothes.

“I’ve been playing it strong for way too long and my Instagram may seem perfect but it’s far from reality and I think we all know that. I would love to show my emotions and tears on how I really feel but for some reason I've always had to hide my weaknesses.”
She concluded the video by saying she’s “doing pretty damn good”.
