John Legend used his latest music video to give fans a hint that there’s something big on the way for him and his wife, Chrissy Teigen. But for those who failed to catch the clue, it’s now been announced: they’re expecting their third child.
Chrissy (34) and John (41) are already parents to a daughter Luna (4) and a son Miles (2) but a source close to the family recently confirmed to CNN that the famous couple are expecting baby number three.
Tongues began to wag after the family appeared together in the music video for John and Gary Clark Jnr’s latest song Wild in which Chrissy could be seen cradling her stomach.
The model and TV presenter fuelled speculation about her pregnancy when she retweeted Vevo’s post about the video, which told fans to keep their eyes peeled for a “beautiful surprise.”

Ahead of the premiere of the music video, the couple sat down for a YouTube live chat and opened up about their relationship. Although to outsiders it may seem as though they have the perfect marriage and life, John insists they have to work on their relationship just like everyone else.
"We are truly grateful for our life and our lives together and our family, but everybody has troubles and don't think you're alone if you're fighting with your spouse,” the All of Me hitmaker says.
The pair, who tied the knot in 2013, have previously been very forthcoming about their struggle to get pregnant and the heartbreaking postpartum depression Chrissy experienced after the birth of their daughter.
“We have the same communication issues as other people,” Chrissy reveals in the YouTube chat, adding that they sometimes clash because of their different outlooks.
She says John “loves to talk about scheduling and work” while she prefers focusing on other things with their time together.
“It's just [about] being open.”
The couple also spoke candidly about how special it has been to be able to watch their relationship and family evolve throughout the course of John’s music videos.
“We have All of Me, the marriage, no kids yet. Love Me Now with Luna and this one with Miles," Chrissy said.
“It's been chronicling our family's growth and our journey and we're so happy that this video is the next chapter,” John adds.
