Tributes continue to pour in for Oprah Winfrey, who turned 69 on 29 January.
The media mogul was the focus of hundreds of celebratory posts, including one from her long-time BFF, Gayle King, of course.
“Happy everything to the girl who lives her best life everyday and does what she can to help everybody else do the same,” Gayle wrote alongside a photo of the the pair extending their arms into the air.
The birthday girl celebrated by attending an A-list bash marking the 25th anniversary of beauty brand Anastasia Beverly Hills.

She was joined by a host of famous faces, including reality TV star Kim Kardashian, actress Sharon Stone and pop star Jennifer Lopez.
Actress Kerry Washington was also at the event and posted a photo with Oprah where they appeared to be in a dressing room. “There's no brighter light than today’s birthday goddess. Thank you for all that you do,” she captioned the snap.
But the big day wouldn't be complete without some words of wisdom from the birthday girl herself.
In a lengthy post on her Oprah Daily website, O reflected on being one year shy of 70.
“Today, as many of you know, is my 69th birthday. For me, it is such a reward to be turning 69 and to be strong and healthy. This time last year, I was getting over a double-knee operation, and now I have never felt better," she wrote.

"As I turn 69, I choose not to focus on the number. For me, the number has always just been a marker. Instead, I choose to celebrate the time I’ve spent living, taking note of all the shifts, the wins, the accomplishments, how much I’ve grown over the past year and I look forward to all that is to come.”
She also tasked her followers with a bit of self-reflection, asking, “Where do I want to be by the time I hit 70? What do I want to accomplish this year? How do I want to feel? May I suggest you think about these things, too?
“And as I’ve said, with each birthday, you get to decide whether to mark it as the end of your greatest days or the beginning of your finest hours. I choose the latter," she continued.
“What lies ahead in the future, none of us knows, but I’m encouraging you to expect some delight. There will be challenges of course, but lots of delight.”
