Divorce is never easy and the one between Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, which has been dragging on for seven years, is turning out to be one of Hollywood's most bitter splits. 

In a candid interview with Vogue, the actress opened up about the toll it's taken on her. She says it has left her feeling a shadow of her former self, but that her six children have helped to keep her grounded, saving her from drifting into "darker places".

“I was 26 when I became a mother. My entire life changed. Having children saved me – and taught me to be in this world differently,” Angie (48) tells Vogue.
