Former tennis ace Chris Evert beats ovarian cancer – the same disease that killed her sister

She's one of the legends of the game and has been inspiring women to pursue their dreams since making her professional debut at the age of 16.

Eighteen Grand Slam singles titles, three Grand Slam doubles championships and an induction into the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 1995 – there’s little doubt Chris Evert is one of the greatest of all time. 

Since her retirement she’s been commenting on and analysing games for TV networks at top tournaments and remains one of the most respected voices in global tennis.
