Madonna is reportedly single again after splitting from her 28-year-old boyfriend, Ahlamalik Williams.
The 63-year-old superstar has regularly posted images on social media of her sexy American toyboy who she started dating in 2019. However, the last time the dancer appeared on her Instagram was in a Christmas video from last year.
According to an insider, the break-up was amicable.
“Things have been on and off for a while. There’s a lot of love, but for now they have decided to separate. They are still on good terms and there are no hard feelings but they are at different places with their lives.
“They spent months together on tour and in lockdown, but now he has moved out of her home. With them both working on other things, it was hard to keep their romance alight.”
Ahlamalik, whose last Instagram post was in February showing him dancing to Kanye West’s Heaven and Hell, met Madge while dancing on her Rebel Heart tour in 2015.
In 2019, his father Drue (61) spoke out about their romance saying Madonna had told them she was “so in love with him and that we didn’t have anything to worry about as she was going to take care of him”.
The queen of pop seemed to allude to the rumoured split in a recent quote that she posted on Instagram.
It read: “Karma said: when somebody in your life is not right for you . . . god will continuously use them to hurt you until you become strong enough to let them go.”
The insider reveals that Madge is working on new music and has “thrown herself into a busy social life”, seeing friends and family in the wake of the split.
Recent photos on her Instagram account show her attending the popular Coachella Music Festival in the US as well as on a night out on the town with her “besties” who include British designer Stella McCartney.
