A pair of Kardashian exes – Lamar Odom and Caitlyn Jenner – are joining forces to launch their own show, Keeping up with Sports.

The podcast series, whose title is a cheeky riff on Keeping up with the Kardashians, where Lamar and Caitlyn first met and became pals, promises exclusive interviews with sports personalities and entertainment figures, “examining the mindset of elite athletes, their careers and lives off the field”.

Lamar (44), a former NBA player is the winner of two NBA championships in 2009 and 2010.

He and Khloe met at a party in 2009 and were married a month later, with Caitlyn walking her stepdaughter down the aisle.

Lamar naturally appeared on Keeping up with the Kardashians, and after the wedding, the couple got their own spin-off series, Khloe & Lamar.

Being on reality TV, Lamar told TMZ, was a “blessing,” but his relationship with Khloe quickly soured as he abused drugs and repeatedly cheated on her.

“Drugs was my— that was my girlfriend,” he said. “I had a wife and cocaine.” Khloe filed for divorce in 2013 but put proceedings on hold after Lamar overdosed and nearly died in a Nevada brothel in 2015.

A year later their divorced was finalised in 2016. Lamar admitted his regrets about the end of his marriage, saying, "Unfortunately, you know, due to my behaviour and some bad decisions, [Khloe and I] don't really talk any longer. I miss their family tremendously."

He and Caitlyn seems to have rekindled their relationship though. Caitlyn(74) won the gold medal and broke the world record in decathlon in the 1976 Montreal Olympic Games.

She was married to Kris Jenner until 2015, when she came out as transgender, and shares daughters Kendall and Kylie with Kris.

She made headlines this week when she announced her controversial support for an order banning female sports teams with transgender athletes from using New York county-owned facilities.

She said allowing transgender athletes like herself to compete against other women will “ruin women’s sports”.

“Let’s stop it now while we can,” she remarked.

The LGBT Network, a Long Island-based advocacy group, said Caitlyn’s comments were a “baffling contradiction” to her own identity as a transgender woman that is “not only hypocritical but also harmful” to the LGBTQ community.

Caitlyn and Lamar’s first podcast episode will feature retired boxer Sugar Ray Leonard, and future guests include basketball analyst Seth Davis, boxer and TikToker Bryce Hall, Amber Rose, UFC fighter Paddy "The Baddy" Pimblett and more.

The pair have not yet announced when the series will launch, but their website promises that it’s “coming soon!”
