One-time BFFs Kim Kardashian West and Paris Hilton are serving up throwback looks with matchy-matchy velour tracksuits for a shoot in Los Angeles.
The pair were spotted in the athleisure gear from Kim’s upcoming velour collection from her SKIMS brand.
Looking fresh and chic, the mom-of-four, who turns 40 on 21 October, rocked a lavender-coloured ’fit and completed her look with a pair of oversized glasses, hoop earrings and a Hermès mini Birkin handbag. Blonde beauty Paris rocked a dusty-pink version of the tracksuit from the new collection with an oversized Louis Vuitton tote.
Kim launched SKIMS, a line of underwear, shapewear and loungewear, last year.
“As my style changed and evolved, I found myself altering existing shapewear to work specifically for each look that I was going for. I knew I wasn’t alone in looking for the perfect shapewear and was inspired to turn my passion into something real that works for every body type,” she says.
The two have come a long way since the early 2000s, when Kim was working for Paris as a closet organiser and stylist. She also appeared briefly in the Hilton hotel heiress’ reality show, The Simple Life, before the launch of Keeping Up with the Kardashians (KUWTK).
“I really would want to do anything for her, she literally gave me a career. And I like totally acknowledge that,” Kim said in the 17th season of KUWTK.
Life took them in different directions but they’ve been rekindling their friendship in recent years, with regular hang-out sessions recorded in their social-media accounts, and Kim made a cameo appearance in Paris’ music video, Best Friend’s A**.
