She was just five months old when her mother, Anna Nicole Smith, died of a drug overdose in 2007 but Dannielynn Birkhead is quite the young beauty now.
The 14-year-old recently attended the Kentucky Derby, a tradition Anna Nicole enjoyed, with her dad, Larry Birkhead, and she looked stylish in a bright-blue suit and white feathered headpiece.
“Dannielynn finished first in her @jovanifashions pantsuit and a beautiful white flowered fascinator,” Larry wrote in an Instagram post.
“She said she wanted to wear something entirely different than she had in the past. I guess that means no more little girl dresses?”
The proud dad also added a series of hashtags, including one commemorating his daughter’s braces coming off, People.com writes.
With her blonde locks, thin nose and pretty smile, Dannielynn bears a striking resemblance to her mother.
When Dannielynn was born, she was thrust into the spotlight for more than one reason. Her half-brother, Daniel Wayne Smith, had died of a drug overdose three days earlier. Anna Nicole was devastated by the loss and sources close to her say she practically died when Daniel did.
There was also the confusion around who Dannielynn’s biological father was with many speculating it was Anna’s partner Howard K Stern until a paternity test revealed Larry was the father.
Dannielynn and her dad, who live in Kentucky, have led a relatively normal life over the years and have continued the derby tradition enjoyed by Anna.
Larry has previously said Dannielynn shares many of Anna’s characteristics.
“She is fearless like her mom,” he told20/20.
“She’ll get on any rollercoaster that you put in front of her.
“I could stand right next to my daughter and we could look like twins and the first thing they’ll say is 'spitting image of the mother’.”
