It’s been a while since we’ve seen Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s eldest daughter – so it was great to spot Blue Ivy this week, and wow, is she growing up!

The 10-year-old was with her 52-year-old dad at the US National Basketball Association (NBA) finals game in San Francisco, California, earlier this week and looked cool in a black leather jacket, big hoop earrings and long hair.

And despite being the offspring of rap royalty she still proved she’s a typical tween. When the arena's so-called "kiss cam" focused on the Carters, showing their image on the big screen, Jay-Z had an awkward dad moment when he pulled Blue in for a hug and a kiss on the cheek and she pulled away laughing.

Journalist Philip Lewis shared a clip of the exchange, writing, “To us: Jay-Z, the all-time rap legend. To Blue Ivy: embarrassing dad.”

Twitter users were quick to respond.

“Her parents are the most famous people in the world but she gotta keep them humble,” one wrote.

Another shared the sentiments of most teens. “She’s not embarrassed. She said exactly what my daughter would say to her dad, 'Dad! My haiiiirrrr!' ”

Many commented that she's her famous mom's mini-me. “She’s got Beyoncé’s attitude and facial expressions and I love it!” one wrote.

“That’s the first thought that came to my mind: that’s Bey’s mannerisms,” another said.

The father-daughter duo had courtside seats as they watched the Golden State Warriors defeat the Boston Celtics 104-94 at the Chase Center. Later they were spotted hanging out backstage chatting to the players.

Meanwhile Jay-Z recently teamed up with Twitter founder Jack Dorsey to launch a bitcoin-focused financial literary project in his childhood home, the Marcy Houses, a public housing complex in Brooklyn, New York.

Named The Bitcoin Academy, the project consists of free bi-weekly classes offered in-person and online in a bid to teach residents financial literacy.

“Bitcoin is becoming a critical tool for many in Africa and Central and South America. We believe the same potential exists within communities in the US,” Dorsey tweeted along with a link to the academy's official website. “Our goal is to prove that making powerful tools more available to people enables them to build greater independence.”
