Pop star Shakira sparks romance rumours with F1’s Lewis Hamilton!

It looks like Shakira (46) is finally ready to move on from her longtime ex, Gerard Piqué.

The Hips Don’t Lie hitmaker, who split from the Spanish soccer star last year after he was bust cheating on her, has been spending a lot of time with F1 champion Lewis Hamilton (38) lately, sparking rumours they’re more than just friends.

The two were recently seen enjoying dinner with friends including Sudanese-Canadian poet/singer Mustafa Ahmed, in Barcelona after the singer watched Lewis compete in the Spanish Grand Prix where he came in second place.

The sighting comes just a few weeks after the British racing champ joined the singer for a yacht ride outside her new $20 million (R380 million) waterfront mansion in Florida, after she watched him take part in the Miami Grand Prix.

A source close to the pair says they are in the “getting to know you stage”.  

And it seems Lewis isn't the only man Shakira has impressed lately.

Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise was said to be smitten with the singer after meeting her at the F1 Grand Prix in Miami, reportedly sending flowers to her house after the event.

He was even overhead telling pals they had “incredible chemistry”.

However, Shakira apparently was not interested in pursuing anything with the Top Gun star. “It was a huge dent to Tom's ego,” a source told Radar Online. “It stung all the more because he considers Lewis a buddy.”

Colombian-born Shakira is settling into her new life in Miami following her move from Spain and split from Piqué, with whom she has two sons, Milan (10) and Sasha (8).

At the time she shared an emotional post on Instagram, expressing her gratitude for the many years she spent living there.

“Thank you to everyone who has been there to cheer me up, dried my tears, inspired me and made me grow.

Shakira has referenced to her split from Gerard in recent tracks such as BZRP Music Session Volume 53 and most recently, Acrostico, which she dropped shortly before Mother's Day.
