Chrissy Teigen’s trolling past has come back to haunt her – and saying sorry isn’t going to cut it!

The former model and cook’s kitchen line of cookware has been dumped from several US retailers after a slew of tweets she posted years ago resurfaced.

Over the weekend eagle-eyed shoppers noticed that items in the Cravings by Chrissy Teigen line were marked “unavailable” on premier retailer Macy’s website.

Chrissy’s cookware items have also been removed from department store Target’s website, though the retail giant has insisted it was a mutual decision made prior to the tweet drama.

Target came under fire after US model Courtney Stodden recently drew attention to shocking tweets Chrissy directed at her in 2011, with many fans vowing to stop shopping there if they did not stop carrying Chrissy’s products.

At the time, Courtney – who is non-binary and goes by the pronoun “they” – was just 16 and under heavy public scrutiny for their marriage to then 50-year-old actor Doug Hutchison.

In a tweet Chrissy told Courtney: "My friday fantasy: you. dirt nap. mmmmmm baby." A "dirt nap" is an allusion to a dead person's burial.

In another tweet, Chrissy told Courtney to "go. to sleep. forever."

Courtney has since revealed that the Lip Sync Battle host didn’t just attack them with public tweets but also private messages.

"[Chrissy] wouldn't just publicly tweet about wanting me to take ‘a dirt nap’ but would privately DM me and tell me to kill myself. Things like, ‘I can't wait for you to die’.”

Courtney said: “She stalked me. She harassed me. She bullied me, and keep in mind, I was a minor. She would call me a whore, a slut, she would tell me she hated me. Every name in the book she called me.”

Chrissy, who has two kids, Luna (5) and Miles (3), with singer John Legend (42), has since issued a heartfelt apology.

"I was an insecure, attention-seeking troll. I am ashamed and completely embarrassed at my behaviour but that is nothing compared to how I made Courtney feel.

“I have tried to connect with Courtney privately but since I publicly fuelled all this, I want to also publicly apologise. I’m so sorry, Courtney. I hope you can heal now knowing how deeply sorry I am.”

But it seems the damage to the 35-year-old former model’s reputation has been done.

Netizens started digging deeper into Chrissy’s past on the social media platform on which she has nearly 14 million followers. It seems Courtney wasn't the only public figure Chrissy targeted with her mean tweets.

The child star was just nine years old when she was nominated for an Oscar for Beasts of the Southern Wild in 2013. On her big night, fans cooed over how adorable the little girl looked as she attended the glitzy awards do.

But not Chrissy, who said she was being "forced to like" Quvenzhané and called her "cocky".

In 2010, when it was announced Mimi was pregnant with twins Monroe and Moroccan, Chrissy responded with a brutal jibe directed at Mariah's weight.

"Why is anyone surprised Mariah is having twins? I was always pretty positive there were 2-15 babies growing inside of her," Chrissy tweeted at the time.

Chrissy made fun of Lindsay's mental health struggles and legal issues in a number of tweets.

In 2011, she tweeted: "I cannot wait to show up in court with john to fight this s***."

@lindsaylohan what should I wear, you're the expert. Help."

That same year, she posted: "Lindsay adds a few more slits to her wrists when she sees Emma Stone."

In 2011, Chrissy – who has been candid about struggling to conceive – tweeted that she'd rather be infertile than have children like the Complicated singer.

Chrissy tweeted: "If u told me I could have 1 kid, but it would be exactly like avril, I would choose to have a barren, sterile existence that ends when I die."

"Watching an avril lavigne interview," she later tweeted. "The second most painful thing I have watched today after 'the goods'."

Chrissy pulled no punches when she pleaded with former Alaska governor and vice-presidential candidate Sarah to take her own life.

She wrote: "Listen. I don't want much from sarah palin. I just want her to admit partial fault then shoot herself in the face. is that wrong?"

Another of Chrissy's targets was Teen Mom star Farrah.

In 2013, Farrah filmed a sex tape with porn star James Deen, and was later seen buying a pregnancy test in paparazzi photos.

Chrissy tweeted: "Farrah Abraham now thinks she is pregnant from her sex tape."In other news you're a w***e and everyone hates you whoops not other news sorry."
