Hollywood siren Salma Hayek made sure that all eyes were on her at the premiere of Magic Mike’s Last Dance in Miami.

The 56-year-old star, who appears alongside Hollywood heartthrob Channing Tatum in the movie, displayed her enviable curves in a skin-revealing black crochet dress that gave everyone a sneak peek of her underwear.

While she's widely considered one of the sexiest women in the world, the Mexican actress - who's married to French tycoon François-Henri Pinault (60) with whom she has a 15-year-old daughter, Valentina - has spoken out in the past about struggling with her body image and aging.

“I'm entering my fifties so your body confidence isn’t that good,” she told UK InStyle in 2016. “I think it depends on the day for everybody. There’s some days you say, ‘This is it,’ and you love it. Then there are days when you go, ‘This cannot be it! Is this really it?’ So I think it's up and down all the time!"

Speaking about her famous hourglass shape, she told The Edit, “I was always borderline chubby, because I like my food and, frankly, I like my wine. I have to say.”

In 2021 she admitted she felt pressure to be a certain size because “it's what's expected for a woman who people consider good looking”.

“As you get older, you're expected not to age,” she told InStyle magazine.

The House of Gucci star has previously described herself as “quite short” and having a “wavy body”.

“I don't fit into any of the stereotypes of a woman that should continue to work. I don't know what it is, maybe it has something to do with karma. I believe in karma.”

In December last year she fobbed off speculation she'd had a boob job, putting it down to menopause.

“The boobs grow, a lot,” she said during a virtual appearance on Jada Pinkett Smith’s Red Table Talk in which she discussed the mid-life condition. “For some women, they get smaller.”

“A lot of people said I had breast augmentation. I don’t blame them. My boobs were smaller. So was the rest of my body. But they just have kept growing many, many sizes.”

As a result, she added, she has been suffering from back pain.

“Not a lot of people talk about this.”
